Our free, fortnightly peer-led Parent Support Group is a safe place to meet others and talk about the issues our visually impaired children face and share solutions that others in the community have found. The group is organised by Jane Ring, Parent Support Officer at LOOK.
We are thrilled to welcome an absolutely bumper group of new mentees this spring. A grand total of 34 young people will be joining the LOOK mentoring project, with the majority of these new starters up already up and running from this month. This is a very exciting milestone for us – our largest intake yet!

Join VI Professionals and LOOK mentors to help your blind and partially sighted kids prepare for exams with confidence.
Experience has shown us that visually impaired young people are best supported by those that have personal experiences of living with a visual impairment. The mentor role can be hugely rewarding – supporting others, while boosting your own self-development and confidence too.
