In June we were delighted to welcome Kirsty James to sit in the LOOK Into chair where she chatted with Clare Norton-Smith (Events and Resources Co-ordinator at LOOK) about working in campaigns, the campaigns that have delivered the most success and how being involved in campaigning can give you life skills and boost your confidence.

In March 2022 LOOK UK and Vision Foundation co-hosted a landmark conference for visually impaired 16-24 year olds. The aim of this ambitious online event was to give practical solutions to the barriers and challenges that exist for young people seeking employment.
Knowing what to do after we finish our formal education can be daunting and for those who aren’t following the path to uni, it can seem even more so. Deciding to take a vocational course or subject can be a life-changing alternative, providing you with the practical skills and knowledge to prepare you for work.

LOOK Parent Carer Support Officer, Jane Ring, daughter Chloe, husband Neil and Sapphire the buddy dog travelled to London to meet with MPs as part of Guide Dogs #AllThingsEqual campaign.
