Join this peer support group for parent/carers of visually impaired children, to discuss your worries or concerns about how your VI children are getting on at school amidst the ‘new normal’ regulations.
As we near the end of the first half-term of the new school year, it is clear to us that it hasn’t been easy for many families.
Starting the new term amid lots of new – and ever-changing – social distancing measures and concerns around Covid-19 has put a lot of stress and pressure on parent/carers and young people alike.
There have been a lot of new things to get used to, and many new challenges to navigate. We want to hear how you’ve been getting on and how we can help.
Come to connect with other parents and join our friendly support network, which will include Andrea Davies, Education Advisor at Guide Dogs.
Joining details will be sent prior to the event.
**Please note, this event is replacing the Friday 23rd October Parent Support Group.**
