Calling all visually impaired students, aged 14+ thinking about going to university! Visually impaired and thinking about going to university?

Our next ‘Get Uni Ready’ event is coming to the University of Winchester, on Tuesday 7 April!

“We would definitely recommend attending this event, the opportunity to hear from current and recent students and to be able to ask them questions was both valuable and reassuring.”

Our free event is designed to empower you with the knowledge you need to make an informed decision about University. The event will include a tour of the university campus to give you a feel of what a student campus is really like, and a Q&A session with our mentors where you’ll hear first-hand experiences of what uni was like for them.

Please note the following important information:

There is very limited parking on campus, no public parking on-site and only 5 blue badge bays which cannot be reserved. Public parking is in town and a 15-20-minute walk. The train station is also in town and the same walk/taxi options apply. Ambassadors will meet people at the station to assist with getting in taxis or walking with them back to the university.

The park and ride has the nearest bus stop at the hospital which is around a 5-minute walk away and does involve a steep slope.
