Look in partnership with the RNC is hosting a community event for blind and partially sighted children and young people aged 10-16 years old. The workshop aims to empower young people through the power of storytelling.

We are delighted to be working with Rona Smith, a business student at the RNC, who will take us through the art of storytelling to understand how to create and tell compelling stories. Rona is a skilled storyteller who has attended many workshops herself, building her self-confidence and ability to speak in public.

Young people will learn how the power of storytelling can influence others to listen to what they have to say and empower them to be able to self-advocate in any setting.

This fun event will give the participants time to make friends and socialise whilst learning important life skills.

By the end of the workshop, we hope that you will head back home with increased confidence to try out your new skills and get your voice heard above the crowd!

A light lunch will be served at 1 pm. There is no charge for this event.

To register your interest please email Claire our Herefordshire Events Coordinator. The deadline for registering for this event is Monday 6th May.

We are delighted to be working in partnership with the RNC, supported by RNC business students to deliver a series of events focused on nurturing connection and building self-confidence within the young Visually Impaired community.

These events are part of the wider #iWill movement that supports and empowers children and young people to make a positive difference on the issues that affect their lives, their communities, and broader society.
