We know how isolating it can feel when you’re visually impaired, especially when you might be the only blind or partially sighted young person in your local area. For many people, it can be difficult to find others who truly understand what it’s like to live with sight loss. That’s why we’re passionate about creating opportunities for connection, friendship, and community.
Meeting with other visually impaired young people gives you a chance to share the highs and lows, swap tips, and simply feel understood. You’re not alone, and that’s what we want everyone to know. This meetup is all about building a supportive space where you can relax, chat, and make new connections with like-minded people.
When and Where
- Wednesday 4th February.
- 6-8pm
- High St, Hereford.
This is a chance to meet other young people, have a chat, and enjoy some time out together in a welcoming setting. Whether you already know LOOK or you’re completely new, you’re very welcome to come along.
There’s no pressure to stay for the whole evening; you can come on your own or bring a friend, and join us for as long as you like. The evening is relaxed and informal, and it’s simply a chance to connect with others who understand what it’s like to be visually impaired.
