The adidas Manchester Marathon, the UK’s second largest marathon and one of Europe’s largest, is an iconic event drawing participants from all over the world to the vibrant streets of Greater Manchester.
Take on the 26.2 mile challenge enjoying the incredible Mancunian support throughout the course, making it an unforgettable day!

Why run for Look
Faye was referred to LOOK at 19 years old, having been diagnosed with Stargardt’s Disease – a progressive sight loss condition. When she first got in touch, she was struggling to imagine a future where her visual impairment wasn’t a barrier to everything she wanted to do.
“Starting university felt so terrifying; I was doubting whether I could even go. Look matched me with a mentor, who studied educational psychology, just like I wanted to. Over six months, they helped me build my confidence in navigating life as a visually impaired student. Thanks to Look, I didn’t just meet my goals—I exceeded them. I got offers from all my university choices, and became more independent and confident to speak up for myself.”
Today Faye is at university, and has trained to become a volunteer mentor to support VI young people through their sight loss journey. Fundraising like yours makes stories like hers possible.
