Our music forums are aimed at all visually impaired young people aged under 18 (plus any family members who want to join in)!
Brilliant musicians and LOOK volunteer Mentors will continue to host these sessions, which offer a chance for like-minded music fans to talk, play and share all things music.
Each week you can play your instrument and share your amazing musical talent – whether you’re a passionate guitarist or you’ve just picked up the piano for the first time during lockdown; all musical abilities are welcome!
These sessions originally started during lockdown in mid-2020 and have been such a positive and enjoyable space for VI individuals to come together and enjoy music together.
Join us every other Wednesday at 6pm – 7pm for musical games, music chat and the chance to perform for one another.
All LOOK forums are an online space to entertain, support and empower visually impaired young people.
LOOK music Forums are lead by our LOOK Mentors – visually impaired young adults who offer support, advice and information based on their own lived experience of being visually impaired.
Meet the music forum mentors!
Hi I’m Rupert, I’m 29 years old and originally from Yorkshire but now live in Norwich. I play lots of different instruments and love going to gigs and festivals!
Hi I’m Natalie, I’m 23 years old and I love talking, laughing and chocolate. My interesting fact is that I skydived for charity when I was 18.
I’m Lorna, I’ve been playing bass and guitar from a young age and now play bass in two bands and guitar in a third.
I’m Lacey, I’m 25 years old and an interesting fact about me is that I was part of the thousand strong choir at the 2012 Olympic torch relay event in Worcester.
Music Forum dates for Spring term 2021:
Feb 17th (half-term)
