June 7th Parent Support Group (PSG) Time to Talk.
June marks the countdown to the school holidays, with exams finally coming to an end as parents we now need to shift our attention to how we keep our children entertained for the 6-week school break.
Come and meet other parent/ carers of visually impaired children in our free, online meet-up session.
Our parent led support group welcomes new members. It’s a safe place to come and share what has been happening for your children and gain insight, support, and strategies to manage the difficult situations we encounter as advocates for our sons and daughters.
Listen for some key advice and guidance from other parent carers who understand what you are going through. Share the triumphs and tragedies with our parent carer community and leave feeling less isolated, more connected and ready to take on the world again.
Please contact Jane, Parent Support Officer, beforehand if you have any concerns, are new to the group or do not want to speak so she knows how to meet your needs.
Be a part of LOOK’s supportive community.
Our community is growing and there is always room for more parent carers to share their stories and discover they are not on their own.
