Are you raising a child who has a visually-impaired sibling? Do you worry about how their well-being is being affected?
We are delighted to collaborate with Sibs – the UK’s only charity for children and adults who are growing up with a disabled brother or sister – in this online workshop for parents.
This workshop is for parents who want to know more about supporting siblings. It will give parents an insight into:
- The Sibs charity and the services they offer
- The needs and experiences of siblings
- How to give attention
- A Q+A session
Resources and individual support will also be available.
This hour-long workshop will take place on Zoom on Tuesday the 6th of July at 7:30pm.
Registration closes for this event at 5:30pm on the day of the event.
Zoom meeting details are provided by email to those who have registered to attend. You can read our guide on using Zoom to join LOOK online events here: https://www.look-uk.org/how-to-zoom/
If you prefer you can switch off your video, mute your microphone and just listen in. We will have parents of children at different ages and stages joining us, so this is a great place to meet others, ask questions, share experiences and benefit from peer support.
Sign-in information will be sent to registered attendees by 18:30 on the day of the event.
