Tuesday 11th October

Parent Support Group – Social Interaction using AI.

On October 11th we will have the opportunity to listen to each other and offer vital advice and support which helps to keep us going.

A common topic of conversation is how our children can feel isolated and don’t have the same social skills as their sighted peers.

We will be joined by Cecily Morrison, a Mum of a visually impaired child and researcher at Microsoft who will tell us about the project she is involved in.

PeopleLens – Microsoft Research is helping people who are blind or have low vision develop their social skills.

She will let us know more about the project in more detail, explaining its impact and how our children could get involved.

Whatever is on your mind come along to the parent carer-led support group and find comfort and strength in our community.
